Kathmandu: The Nepal Insurance Authority mulls maximizing the number of payment gateway to facilitate its revenue collection. The Authority has received applications from the digital payment system operator and digital payment service providers to get enrolled in the shortlist of the Authority.
The Authority has already managed to collect the agency, broker, and surveyor license renewal fee through digital payment gateways. Now, preparations are on the way to collect new agent license fees from aspirants who have already attended insurance agency trainings conducted by insurance companies.
The Authority has recently executed the online examination module for the agency license examination. The online revenue payment service aims to help the applicant with quick payment of the application fee.
