Kathmandu: Lumbini General Insurance Company has declared dividends for 2078-79. The board of directors(BODs) meeting of the company held on Wednesday has proposed 7 percent stock dividends to the shareholders from the profit of the last FY.
The company has proposed to distribute 7 percent stock dividends and 0.35 percent cash dividends for tax purposes on stock and cash dividends. The current paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 1.31 billion. The proposed dividend will be distributed only after a nod is received from the Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsement by the upcoming annual general meeting.
