Sagarmatha Insurance Sets Record, Earns Insurance Premiums Over Rs. 3bn

Kathmandu: Sagarmatha Insurance Limited has managed to earn over Rs. 3 billion insurance premiums for the first time in its history. It has been able to increase its premium income by 15 percent as compared to last fiscal year. Till 28 Asar it has succeed to earn insurance premiums over Rs.3 billion.

Employees of Sagarmatha Insurance have celebrated the achievement today.

As of Jestha end of current fiscal year 78/79, Sagarmatha Insurance had earned Rs 2.79 billion in premiums. As of third quarter end, Everest Insurance was the second largest non-life insurance company with a premium income of Rs. 2.43 billion.

Sagarmatha Insurance had earned premium income of Rs 2.61 billion in the last fiscal year 2077/78. It was an increase of 16 percent over the previous fiscal year. In the previous fiscal year 2076/77, it had earned insurance premium of Rs 2.25 billion.
