Kathmandu: Nepal Life Insurance Company and Prabhu Life Insurance Company have got permission as Qualified Institutional Investors(QII). The Department of Regulation and Management of the Securities Board of Nepal(SEBON) has given approval to these two company to function as QII.
SEBON has also given permission to NMB Saral Savings Fund on July 1. Earlier, on July 20, six organizations includingGaurav Nepal Investment, Nabil Balanced Fund 3, Pashupati Venture Capital Pvt. Ltd., Samridhi Finance Company, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank and Siddhartha Systematic Investment Scheme have got permission from SEBON.
Recently, a total of 109 institutions, including three, have received permission to work as QII. Institutional investors will be able to participate in the IPO issuance process through book building method.
