Kathmandu: The Tribhuwan University’s Teaching Hospital(TUTH) Maharajgunj has postponed offering healthcare services under the Governtment’s Health Insurance Program( HIP).
The service delivery has been amid failure of the Health Insurance Board to reimburse the claims against health care services provided by the TUTH to the insured.
According to the TUTH, the Board has not provided any claim since last December. So, the hospital is unable to bear the financial burden under the HIP.
TUTH officials say that the services under HIP will be resumed only after the payment of the due claims.
