Kathmandu. About 50,000 agents have renewed through the online system executed by the Insurance Board. Life, Non-Life Insurance Agency and Surveyors have widely accepted the online system, said Rajuraman Poudel, Executive Director of the IB.
Paudel admitted that in a short span of time, a significant amount of agents have renewed their license through online portal. As this is an effective means, we have tried to solve the technical issues as quick as possible. The regulatory authority has formed a three-member sub-committee to address the possible technical issues and monitor it.
