Asian Life earns Rs.1.0624 bn in Q2, Life Fund surged by 21 pc

Kathmandu; Asian Life Insurance Company(ALIC) has managed to earn a total premium of Rs. 1.0624 billion till the second quarter of current fiscal year 2078/79. Established in year 2008 AD, ALIC is one of the leading life insurance company of Nepal.

According to the press release issued by the company on Friday, it has earned a total premium (TPI) of Rs 3.4642 billion during the same period. The TPI of the company was Rs.3.1722 billion in last FY of the same period. The TPI has increased by only 9 per cent.

As of Paush end 2078,(mid-January 2022), the insurance fund is Rs. 30 billion. ALIC’s life fund has surged by 21.39 per cent as compared to the same period of last fiscal year 2077/78. The size of life fund has increased by 55 per cent in comparison to the Paush end of previous fiscal year.

The company has made an investment of Rs. 30 billion in the fixed deposits, debenture and short term loans till Paush end of current FY.
