Profit income of Ajod Insurance increased by 14pc in Q2

Kathmandu. Ajod Insurance Company Limited has managed to increase its profit by 13.91 percent in the first quarter of the current Fiscal Year 2078/79. The company has earned a profit of Rs. 46.3 million as of mid-January. The company had earned a profit of Rs. 46 million in the same period of last fiscal year.

Ajod has improved its total premium income by 16.09. The company has earned a total premium of Rs 792.1 million as of mid-January. Similarly, net premium income is Rs. 227.7 million.

The company has allocated Rs. 118 million in reserve fund. Similarly, Rs. 135.3 million has been allocated for the insurance fund. This year, the company has increased its re-insurance commission income by 31 percent to Rs. 114 million.

The company has earned Rs. 21 million by investing its resources in fixed deposits and other sector. The company has managed to sell 174,000 policies by mid-Janauary. Its earnings per share(EPS) is Rs.9.
