Kathmandu: The board of directors of Prudential Insurance Company has appointed Shrawan Rawal to Chief Executive Officer. The appointment has been finalized after nod received from the Insurance Board(IB), regulatory authority.
The Board of Directors has appointed Rawal to CEO for a term of four years. Rawal was with Sagarmatha Insurance prior to joining Prudential Insurance as Senior Deputy CEO. The post of CEO remained vacant after the resignation of CEO Bir Krishna Maharjan. CEO Maharjan had resigned to join Nepal Insurance as an Acting CEO to skip the six months cooling period as specified by the Corporate Governance Directives of the IB.
