Kathmandu: Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited has launched digital (immaterial) policy services under the “Digital Citizen” campaign. The company has announced that its digital service is capable of offering life insurance policies in digital form only.
The company has announced the digital service after the Insurance Board(IB) paved way for the issuance of digital insurance policy simplifying the provision of mandatory affixing of physical tickets to the physical copy of Insurance Policies.
”The software system for submitting insurance proposals online has also been in operation for the past two years under Citizen Life Insurance’s ‘Digital Citizen’ campaign. In addition, the claim process can be easily forwarded online.”
Poshak Raj Poudel, Chief Executive Officer of the company, said that the company plans to introduce many more modern and latest digital services in the coming days as part of the “Digital Citizen” campaign to save time and make customer service world class.
In addition to this, the company has provided digital banking facilities including Esewa, FonePay, Connect IPS and bank accounts of the company for the convenience of paying the insurance premium.
