Jyoti Life Insurance proposes 10.52 percent Dividend for FY 76/77

Kathmandu: Jyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (JLI) has proposed dividend for the first time. The company has proposed 10.5263 percent dividend to its shareholders for the Financial Year 2076/77. A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on October 31 proposed to distribute dividend to its shareholders from the profits of the FY 2076/77.
The company has proposed to distribute a total of 10.5263 percent dividend by paying 5 percent bonus share of the existing paid up capital and remaining 5.5263 percent as cash dividend for tax purposes.
The proposed dividend will be received by the investors only after the nod received from the Insurance Board and the approval of the next annual general meeting of the company.
