Kathmandu: Mahalakshmi Life Insurance Limited (MLI) has concluded “Mahalakshmi Leaders Summit-2078” at Landmark Hotel, Pokhara. The conference, which was held on October 29 and 30, was attended by insurance agents from across the country who have achieved business goals. Discussions were held on how to extend insurance access to the general public in a different way from the traditional insurance business.
In developed countries, the government is responsible for education, health and care of old aged citizen. As the insurance sector is fulfilling that responsibility in a resource-poor country like Nepal, participants were trained on how to develop leadership in the agent profession, what companies and agents need to do to operate insurance professionally. In order to increase the access of insurance to the lower class and to increase the public awareness about insurance among the youth, it has been decided to extend the “Youth with Mahalakshmi Life” program more effectively to the villages.
In the first session of the program conducted by Manager Sitaram Dhimal, motivator Rajavavu Sah and in the second session Chief Executive Officer Bhattarai imparted training on leadership development in the agent profession.
