Kathmandu: The board of directors of Prudential Insurance has accepted the resignation of CEO Bir Krishna Maharjan. Maharjan had resigned on October 20,2021. The resignation will be effective from October 22.
The BOD has also decided to appoint Senior Deputy CEO Shrawan Kumar Rawal as Officiating CEO to be effective from October 24,2021.
Sources claim that Maharjan is about to join Nepal Insurance Company. As per the corporate governance act issued by Insurance Board, cooling period of six months will be attracted for CEOs.
