Nepal Re to invest Rs.14 million for office interiors

Kathmandu: Nepal Re-insurance is about to invest nearly Rs. 14 million for the interior decoration of the corporate office.

Nepal Re has signed a contract worth Rs 14.1 million for the interior decoration and civil construction works of the corporate office in Thapathali. The contract also includes electrical equipment like air conditioners, networking device, security device etc. The office is being relocated to another building next to the Trade Tower Thapathali where the office currently operates.

Based on the technical evaluation, the estimated cost was around Rs. 19.9 million. But the bidder Himani/Kavya Construction Services Sindhuli proposed only Rs.14.1 million for the interiors and civil construction job. Nepal Re states,’It has been awarded the contract for the interior and construction work based on the evaluation of technical and financial proposal among 17 bidders.’

Officials said that the investment is being made to make the office of international standard.
