Kathmandu: Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company is celebrating its 4th anniversary. The company had started its life insurance business on September 22, 2017.
Headquartered in Kamaladi, Sun Nepal has been providing life insurance services through 20 branch offices. Sun Nepal, which has been selling 13 life insurance policies, has succeeded in expanding its network of agents for ten years.
Sun Nepal has increased its life insurance fund to Rs.2.39 billion in the short period of its establishment and has also deposited Rs. 341.7 million in the reserve fund. So far, it has earned more than Rs.4.39 billion in total premiums. About 156,000 insurance policies have been issued.
The main investor of the company is Birgunj based business organzation Keyal Group. The chairman is Anuj Keyal. Raj Kumar Aryal is the chief executive officer of the company. He is a former deputy director of the Insurance Board.
With a paid-up capital of Rs.1.4 billion, Sun Nepal is preparing to issue Rs.600 million worth of IPOs. The company is preparing to issue the IPO with premium.
