Kathmandu: Nerude Micro Finance Institution has sought proposals from insurance companies to provide term insurance to its debtors.
The class D microfinance institution licensed by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has asked for a proposal to provide optional term insurance service to the debtors equal to the loan amount.
The company, which had invested Rs. 7.90 billion in loans till mid-July, is providing microfinance services to more than 148,000 households through 99 branch offices across the country. The NPL ratio stood at 4.36 percent.
Nerude Microfinance has requested the insurance companies to register the proposal along with the company registration, permanent account number and certified copy of the tax payment certificate by 2:00 pm on October 1,2021.
