Kathmandu: Union Life Insurance Company has paid a claim of Rs. 10.208 million to the family of the deceased. The company has handed over the claim amount to Jamuna Kumari Mahato, wife of Pitamber Mahato, who died due to corona infection.
The claim amount was paid by Kapil Kumar Dahal, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the company on July 10, informed Rakesh Maharjan, Deputy Chief of Bagmati Pradesh.
Mahato died at the hospital in June 2021 due to Covid19. Mahato had been working in the Naxal branch of Union Life Insurance for the past one year as the agency manager.
