Kathmandu: Kabi Prasad Pathak has been re-appointed as the administrator of Rastriya Bima Sansthan. A cabinet meeting held on Monday re-appointed Pathak for another term on the basis of his performance and evaluation.
Sansthan is a government owned life insurance company. Administrator is assumed as the CEO.
His first term was over on May 20. The Government of Nepal on Monday decided to reappoint him. Pathak recieved the appointment letter yesterday and taken the charge from today.
Pathak informed that the work of audit and general assembly, which has been pending for a long time, will be completed as soon as possible. He expressed his commitment to complete the audit within some time as almost all the work has been completed internally.
He plans to work for further expansion of the life insurance business after the completion of the audit and AGM. Pathak expressed his commitment to move ahead by making the state-owned enterprise more competitive.
