Kathmandu Valley will see curfew for few more weeks, Groceries and department stores will be allowed to serve

Kathmandu; The Kathmandu valley is expected to see the curfew till this month end. After the joint meeting of the CDOs of the valley, the Chief District Officer of Lalitpur Mr. Dhundi Prasad Niraula, the curfew will be continued till the end of Jestha month.

He said,’We are preparing to loosen the curfew but the official decision yet to be done.’
During today’s meeting, the possibility of permit to open more branches of bank and finance was also discussed.
It is expected that the grocery store and department stores will be allowed to serve after 20th of Jestha 2078.

The meeting was also positive about the continuation of the public private infrastructure construction works during curfew.
As per CDO Niraula, the concrete decisions will be taken by tomorrow’s meeting of CDOs.
