Kathmandu. The bodies of 162 people who lost their lives in the devastating floods in Rasuwa have been recovered.
According to the data released by Nepal Police, 64 bodies have been found in Chitwan alone. Bodies of 27 people have been found in Dhading, 26 in Nawalparasi East, 20 in Gorkha, 12 in Nuwakot, 9 in Tanahun and 2 each in Rasuwa and Nawalparasi West.
At present, 41 injured people are undergoing treatment at different hospitals, police said.
A total of 3,318 police personnel have been mobilized to rescue the affected areas. So far, 28 police personnel who are unaware have come in contact.
