Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure the dividend of Synergy Power Development and Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower. The two companies have decided to close the book on December 28 for dividend and meeting purposes. This means that only existing shareholders will be eligible to receive dividends and attend meetings.
The company has decided to distribute 10.5263 percent dividend to its shareholders from the profit of the last FY. This includes 10 percent bonus shares and 0.5263 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The company has called its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 12 to approve the dividend. The assembly will begin at 11:00 am at Amrapali Banquet in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu.
The meeting shall also endorse a special proposal to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the company. The meeting shall also endorse a proposal to authorize the Board of Directors to carry out any suggestions or directives received from the regulatory bodies.
The meeting will elect 4 directors including 1 woman. The meeting approved the appointment of the annual and auditor of the last fiscal year and the current fiscal year 2082. 83. Approve the proposal relating to the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his/her remuneration.
The 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) has been convened on Tuesday, January 29. The meeting will begin at 2:30 pm at Kathmandu Banquet, Thapagaun, New Baneshwor. The AGM will endorse a special proposal of distributing 10 percent bonus shares on the current paid-up capital and 0.5263 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
The meeting will also endorse the proposal to take additional loan from banks and financial institutions, delegate authority to Board of Directors to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association and appoint an auditor.
