Kathmandu. The 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) has been called by the Self-Employment Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited on January 17, Saturday. The assembly will begin at 11:30 am at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi.
The AGM will endorse a special proposal of distributing 14.25 percent bonus shares of the current paid-up capital and 0.75 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
The meeting will also endorse the proposal of granting authority to the Board of Directors to carry out merger/acquisition, amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association, elect 3 Directors to represent the general shareholders in the Board of Directors and appoint an auditor.
The microfinance company is going to close its book on January 1 for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution. As per the agreement, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till January 1 will be able to participate in the AMALGAM and receive dividends.
