Small life insurer brings in business worth Rs 42.25 crore in five months

Kathmandu. Current fiscal year 2082. In the first five months of the fiscal year, the micro life insurer has brought in a business of more than Rs 42.25 crore.

According to the data made public by the Nepal Insurance Authority, three micro life insurance companies have collected a total of Rs 42.26 crore in insurance premiums till the end of the current fiscal year. The total number of active insurance policies of the company stood at 22,08,039.

Crest Micro Life Ltd was the top gainer in the company during the review period. The company has collected a total premium of Rs 15.40 crore. The total number of active insurance policies of the company stood at 5,27,102.

Similarly, Guardian Micro Life has collected Rs 14.72 crore and Liberty Micro Life has collected Rs 12.13 crore in insurance premiums till mid-December. These companies have active insurance policies of 13,81,197 and 2,99,740 respectively.
