Orientation for new CA students

Kathmandu. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) organized an orientation programme for newly admitted students to study Chartered Accountant (CA) at Nepal Police Club at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu on Sunday. This program has been conducted with the objective of providing information about the institution and Chartered Accountant education to the students enrolled at the Foundation Level, the first level of Chartered Accountant Education for the June 2026 batch.

On the occasion, Chairman of the organization, CA Nil Bahadur Saru Magar wished the students a journey of Chartered Accountant by assimilating the latest changes in the accountancy profession.

Vice-President of the organization Ananda Raj Sharma Wagle stressed that the students should strive to become qualified professionals with new thinking, enthusiasm and energy. Executive Director of the organization, CA Bimal Dangol, welcomed the students to the education.

Assistant Director of the organization, CA Gaurav Khatiwada, gave a presentation on the organization and CA education.

Councilor CA Hari Kumar Silwal, former Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank CA Maha Prasad Adhikari, immediate past president of the organization CA Prabin Kumar Jha and topper of CA Three Sagar Gyawali also gave inspirational speeches covering various aspects of his CA journey and CA career.

The program also included a cultural performance by the newly recruited students. A total of 425 students were physically present in the program.
