Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has been felicitated by the District Police Range, Kathmandu. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki was presented with a letter of appreciation for its support in the renovation and rehabilitation of Durbarmarg-based Police Office.
Chief Executive Officer of the company Praveen Raman Parajuli and Deputy CEO Amit Kumar Kayal received the letter of appreciation from Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki.
The company has spent Rs. 1000 for the construction of the police office in Durbarmarg. Rs 17 lakh has been provided. In recognition of the role and inevitability of Nepal Police which is dedicated to crime control and investigation, citizen security, social harmony and peace making the Community Police Partnership Program more effective, the company has been awarded the letter of appreciation for its contribution to the rehabilitation of police offices.
Earlier, the company had invested Rs. 1000 in the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund set up by the Government of Nepal. Rs 1.5 crore was provided. The company also provided Rs 60,000 for the construction of drinking water and toilets at the police office at Bus Park in Kathmandu and five computers to the District Police Kaski to make its work efficient and technology-friendly.
