Kathmandu. Current Fiscal Year 2083. Life insurance companies have paid more than Rs 2.5 billion to the insured till August 2018. <\/p>\n
According to the data made public by the Nepal Insurance Authority, life insurers have paid Rs 2.57 billion to the insured for surrendering the insurance policy till August. This amount has been paid for the surrender of 14,996 insurance policies. <\/p>\n
In the previous fiscal year 2082. As of August 2018, the companies had paid Rs 2.50 billion to the insured when 15,898 policies were surrendered. The number of insurance premiums decreased by 5.67 percent compared to the previous year, while the amount released for surrender increased by 2.94 percent. <\/p>\n
Similarly, the number of insurance policies spent in life companies and the amount spent in the review period decreased as compared to the previous year. Life insurance companies are yet to collect Rs 35.59 billion from 10,10,996 spent insurance policies till August of the current year. <\/p>\n
As of August last year, the companies were yet to collect Rs 36.43 billion from 12,13,562 spent policies. The number of policies issued during the review period decreased by 16.69 percent and the amount of insurance policies spent decreased by 2.30 percent compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
