Kathmandu. Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd. has launched the new TVS NTORQ 150 scooter in the Nepali market. The company launched the scooter at the ‘Nepathya Live in Kirtipur’ concert held on October 10 at the Laboratory School Ground, Kirtipur. The scooter is priced at Rs 3,69,900. <\/p>\n
Jagdamba Motors, the sole authorized distributor of TVS Motor Company for Nepal, has announced the scooter as Nepal’s first 150cc hyper sport scooter. The scooter was jointly launched by Dipendra Mishra, Chief Operating Officer of Jagdamba Motors and Karuna Pudasaini, Senior Marketing Manager. <\/p>\n
At the event, a special video was screened explaining the key features of the scooter and the journey to Lomanthang. The price of the scooter was announced after the release of the scooter with attractive visual effects. <\/p>\n
Dipendra Mishra, Chief Operating Officer, Jagdamba Motors, said, “TVS NTORQ 150 is yet another milestone in our commitment to provide innovative technology and superior riding experience. The combination of power, technology, safety and attractive design will take the high-performance scooter experience to new heights in Nepal.” <\/p>\n
Karuna Pudasaini, Senior Marketing Manager of the company, said, “The TVS NTORQ 150 is aimed at the new generation of riders. This scooter will be a perfect option for the youth who are looking for an exciting and technology-friendly experience that is different from daily travel. <\/p>\n
The TVS NTORQ 150 is powered by a 149.7cc engine with a three-valve engine. The engine produces 13.2 PS of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. According to the company, the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 60 km\/h in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 104 kmph. <\/p>\n
The scooter comes with features such as traction control, single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS), street and race riding modes, hybrid TFT-LCD display and smart connectivity. The company says that these features will make the safety, control, and use of the scooter easier. <\/p>\n
