The collateral-based lending facility has been extended to 60 districts for the accommodation facility of employees who contribute regularly to the Employees Provident Fund. <\/p>\n<p>According to the PADT, the loan service has been started to be provided by accepting immovable property in almost all the Terai areas of all seven provinces and 60 districts including the hilly and mountainous region as collateral. <\/p>\n<p>According to the fund, loans are available for the construction, maintenance and addition of houses based on collateral in Bhojpur, Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Dhankuta, Biratnagar, Birtamode, Dhankuta, Udayapur, Okhaldhunga, Khotang, Panchthar under Koshi Province. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, arrangement has been made to get collateral-based loan facility in all 8 districts of Madhesh Province, including Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara and Parsa. <\/p>\n<p>Currently, the Fund has been providing collateral-based loans in 3 districts of Kathmandu Valley, Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, Makwanpur, Chitwan, Dhading, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk and Sindhuli. <\/p>\n<p>The service has been expanded to Kaski, Tanahun, Syangja, Mustang of Gandaki Province, Rupandehi, Pyuthan, Kapilvastu, Nawalparasi, Banke, Bardiya, Dang and Arghakhanchi of Lumbini Province. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the government has extended collateral-based house loan facility in Surkhet, Jumla, Dailekh, Pyuthan, Salyan, Rukum (West) and Mugu in Karnali Province. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Trust, the collateral-based house construction service has been extended to Kailali, Kanchanpur and Doti in the Far-West. <\/p>\n<p>According to the trust, the road should be at least 8 feet wide for mortgage and at least 12 feet wide for vacant land. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the minimum area for the collateral property is 2.5 anna or 5 dhur within the metropolis and sub-metropolis and 4 anna or 7.5 dhur land within the rural municipality area. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
