Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has shortlisted 4 names for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). <\/p>\n
The CEO selection and recommendation committee formed by the Ministry of Finance under the coordination of Joint Secretary Mahesh Acharya has shortlisted the names of 4 people. Anil Raj Poudel, Nawaraj Sapkota, Narayan Prasad Sapkota and Pratap Subedi are in the shortlist. <\/p>\n
The committee had invited applications for the CEO of Nepse on August 26. Eight people had applied till the last date of application. However, their names were not made public. <\/p>\n
Now, those who are on the shortlist have been called to the Ministry of Finance for interviews and presentations on October 6. Accordingly, Aniraj Poudel has been called at 7 am, Nawaraj Sapkota at 8 am, Narayan Prasad Sapkota at 5:30 pm and Pratap Subedi at 6:30 pm. <\/p>\n
The shortlisted candidates have been asked to appear in the interview venue 30 minutes before the scheduled time. <\/p>\n
After the interview and presentation, the committee will submit the names of 3 of the shortlisted to the ministry. After that, the ministry will recommend these names in the cabinet meeting. One of them will be appointed as the CEO of NEPSE by the cabinet meeting. <\/p>\n
Chudamani Chapagain had resigned from the post of CEO of Nepse on July 6, 2008 before the end of his term. He was appointed as the CEO of Nepse by the then government on April 19, 2081. <\/p>\n
