Senior litterateur and epic writer Khemnath Dahal, who is continuously active in the journey of Nepali literature by making the word <\/b> a spiritual practice, creativity as a philosophy of life and literature as a mirror of society, has been conferred with the ‘Epic Sadhana Samman’ at the ‘Yemen Global Music Award-2083’ held in Kathmandu recently. According to the organizers, Dahal has been honored with the ‘Epic Sadhana Samman’ in recognition of his contribution to the prosperity of Nepali literature by bringing various colors of literature, culture, philosophy and human sensitivity on the canvas of creation. <\/p>\n
In the felicitation presented on the occasion, Dahal states that he has been enriching Nepali literature through deep contemplation, literary practice and creative work by expressing the multidimensional aspects of life, society, culture, philosophy and human sensitivity in his creations. In particular, he has been conferred with the ‘Epic Sadhana Samman’ in recognition of his special contribution to epic writing. <\/p>\n
The best creators and creators of various genres were also honored and awarded in the ceremony where the depth of literature and the sweetness of music were found in one place. The ceremony was attended by Purna Bahadur Sambahamphe, Chairman of Sambahamphe Property Developers Pvt. Ltd. and Sushma Gurung, Director of Sushma Production Global, Sikkim, was the special guest. On the occasion, senior singer Tara Thapa was conferred with the ‘Dirghasadhana Samman’. <\/p>\n

His published works have established his multi-faceted literary personality in Nepali literature. His poems ‘Shraddhanjali’ collection, ‘Rashmi’ long poem, ‘Yoddha’ poetry, ‘Howard’s Chautarima’ poetry collection, ‘Shwetpatra’ epic, ‘Ma Ta Bandi Ho Chu’ poetry collection, ‘Yatrako Sikirni’ Travelogue, ‘Ahorat’ novel and ‘Srijana Na Drishti’ are the preface collections of his writings. <\/p>\n
Various books have also been published on his creations and personality. Works like ‘Nav Chhayabadko Chhabi’, ‘Khemnath Dahal: Creation and Evaluation’ and ‘Khemnath Dahal in the Criticism Circle’ have evaluated his literary journey from various angles. His cover story has also been published in magazines like ‘Milap’, ‘Janamat’, ‘Bagar’. <\/p>\n

The album’s ‘Buddhako Desh Nepal’, ‘Laliguransko Sato’ and ‘Phulchha Bagma Phool’ have the voice of legendary musician and singer Santosh Shrestha, while the voices of Gyanu Rana in ‘Bitcha Bihan Aamako’ and Ramesh Pathak in ‘Gaunchhau Aba Lau Aamaka Geet’ can be heard.
