NIC Asia Equity Opportunity Fund, which operates under the scheme manager, has reserved a minimum of Rs 1,20,000 or a minimum of 15 percent of the total number of units sold to the fund promoter NIC Asia Bank. As the number of applications has been received more than the demand, the purchase applications will be closed after the banking hours on Wednesday. <\/p>\n
As of 5 pm today, applications have been received for the purchase of units worth more than Rs 80 crore. According to the provision in the approved prospectus, the size of the scheme can be increased from Rs 80 crore to Rs 1 billion. <\/p>\n
This is the sixth closed-end scheme with a tenure of 10 years. Most of the money collected in the scheme will be invested in companies listed on the secondary market of securities, according to the scheme manager. <\/p>\n
The amount collected in the scheme will be invested after studying and researching companies that can give good returns in the future and have good growth potential. Applications can be made for a minimum of 100 units and a maximum of 10 million units, while the purchase of units can be done through the branch offices of all banks and financial institutions participating in the C-ASBA service and through CDSC’s Mero Share software. <\/p>\n
Eligible candidates can apply for the units from Nepali citizens, non-resident Nepalese (NRN) identity cards, Nepali firms, organizations, banks and financial institutions, insurance companies, and funds established by any class or group such as provident fund, welfare fund, trust, revolving fund, etc. registered as per the prevailing laws.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
