Kathmandu. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited and Rotary International District 3292-Basic Education and Literacy Committee have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of education and literacy on September 25, 2026. <\/p>\n
As per the agreement, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank will provide financial assistance for various educational and infrastructure development projects to be run through Rotary Clubs with the objective of promoting basic education and literacy in community and public schools under Corporate Social Responsibility. Under this support, the bank will collaborate for projects focused on improving the educational environment of basic education and schools, including construction and improvement of toilets in community and public schools, projects related to drinking water, sanitation and hygiene, and establishment of computer labs. <\/p>\n
Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has been implementing various programs in the field of education, health, environment and social development as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. The bank believes that this collaboration will contribute to improving the learning environment, hygiene and digital access of students, especially those studying in community and public schools. <\/p>\n
