Kathmandu. The women employees of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited have donated hygiene and personal hygiene related materials to the affected people in various holding centers in Kathmandu affected by the floods in Rasuwa. Ruby Shrestha of the Human Resource Department of the bank handed over the materials to the affected people on behalf of the bank. <\/p>\n
Considering the immediate need of health, hygiene and personal hygiene of the families displaced and affected by natural disasters, the bank has been able to collect the necessary hygiene materials with the participation of female staff. <\/p>\n
The assistance has been provided with the intention of easing the daily life of the affected people as food, shelter and other relief materials as well as basic personal health and hygiene materials are also important during the time of disaster. <\/p>\n
Earlier, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank had provided Rs. 10 lakh to the employees of the bank under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to support the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa. Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 10 lakh as one day’s salary of the employees working in the bank. A total of Rs. 15 lakh. 25 lakhs have been donated. The amount has been deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. <\/p>\n
The Bank has further strengthened the spirit of social responsibility and cooperation with the institutional support of the disaster-affected communities as well as the human participation shown at the staff level. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has been continuously providing support in various areas of disaster management, humanitarian assistance, health, education, financial literacy and social welfare under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program and has pledged to continue to support the relief and rehabilitation of the affected communities in the coming days as per the need and situation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
