Kathmandu. In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nepali passports will now be delivered at home through post. <\/p>\n
The Consulate General of Nepal in Dubai has issued a notice informing about this. Now the newly made passport will be delivered to the address of the concerned applicant through Emirates Post. <\/p>\n
According to the notice, the consulate has received complaints from the service recipients that they do not get leave to come to the office to get a passport, they spend time and travel. The Consulate General has said that arrangements have been made to deliver the passport through post at the place where the Nepalis are staying. <\/p>\n
Now, a person applying for a passport from the Consulate General will have to fill out the delivery form at the time of giving the biometric. Once the passport is made, it will be given to Emirates Post for delivery. <\/p>\n
At the time of delivery, the concerned service recipient will have to pay 15 dirhams and 15.75 dirhams including VAT to Emirates Post. This service is voluntary, according to the Consulate General. <\/p>\n
This service can only be used by the service recipients who need passport delivery at home. <\/p>\n
