The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) has demanded accurate and authentic details of the damage caused by the floods and inundation in Bhotekoshi to the automobile sector. <\/p>\n<p>According to NADA, the floods and inundation have damaged the imported vehicles at various places including the customs checkpoint, some vehicles have gone missing and warehouses, offices, equipment and other business properties of the entrepreneurs have been damaged. <\/p>\n<p>In order to facilitate and coordinate with the affected businessmen and members, NADA has started the necessary initiative with the concerned government bodies, insurance companies, banks and financial institutions, customs office and other stakeholders. <\/p>\n<p>NADA has requested the member companies affected by the floods and inundation to provide the exact and authentic details of their losses to the Secretariat. According to NADA, the details of the damage should include the vehicles damaged by floods and inundations, lost or incommunicado vehicles, the place where the vehicles are located and the relevant customs points, the number and type of vehicles and the available identification details. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the company has also requested the government to furnish details of damage to warehouses, offices and other physical structures, insured property and vehicles, documents and details required for making insurance claims, details related to loans taken from banks and financial institutions and other direct business losses. <\/p>\n<p>NADA has said that it will coordinate and facilitate with the concerned authorities on the basis of the information received. NADA has said that it will collect and record the overall details of the damage caused in the automobile sector and will coordinate with the concerned insurance companies to make the insurance claim process faster and easier. <\/p>\n<p>NADA also plans to identify the lost or damaged vehicles at the customs checkpoints and coordinate with the concerned customs offices for necessary procedures. <\/p>\n<p>The affected entrepreneurs will coordinate with the bodies concerned regarding restructuring, review of the repayment period or other possible facilitation of the loans taken from banks and financial institutions. <\/p>\n<p>NADA has stated that it will present the overall details of the losses suffered by the automobile sector to the government and concerned stakeholders and take initiatives for necessary relief, facilitation and policy address. <\/p>\n<p>In order to make this work systematic and effective, a coordination and facilitation committee will be formed as per the need and the problems of the affected members will be taken to the concerned bodies and necessary initiatives will be taken to resolve them. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
