Kathmandu. The second Nepal Insurance Cup Futsal Tournament organized by Nepal Insurance Company Limited on the occasion of the company’s 79th anniversary concluded in a grand and exciting manner. Various insurance companies participated enthusiastically in the tournament held at Samakhusi Futsal Ground. <\/p>\n
The teams participating in the tournament performed well and made the competition exciting. In the final match of the tournament held at Samakhusi Futsal Ground, Himalayan Everest Insurance Company Limited defeated Siddhartha Premier Insurance Company Limited by 5-2 goals to win the title. <\/p>\n
Siddhartha Premier Insurance Company Limited was the runner-up. The players who performed best in the competition were awarded in various categories. <\/p>\n
Dinesh Kumar Singh of Himalayan Everest Insurance was adjudged the Player of the Tournament and Sunil Thapa was adjudged the best defender. Similarly, Roshan Budhathoki of Siddhartha Premier Insurance was adjudged the highest scorer and Sujan Ghimire was adjudged the best goalkeeper. <\/p>\n
At the closing ceremony of the tournament, Chairman of Nepal Insurance Company Limited Chandra Singh Saud and Chief Executive Officer Bir Krishna Maharjan handed over the trophies and certificates to the winners and runners-up. The best players in various categories were also given prizes and certificates. <\/p>\n
In collaboration with the tournament’s mobile app partner Arena Pro, it was arranged to view the live score of the match, the results of the matches, and various information related to the tournament through the Arena Pro mobile app. This helped the players and sports fans to get information about the matches of the tournament easily. <\/p>\n
According to Nepal Insurance Company Limited, the event was organized with the objective of strengthening mutual relations, collaboration, healthy competition and team spirit by uniting various insurance companies in a single playing field. <\/p>\n
The excellent performance of the players during the tournament, the exciting games and the enthusiasm of the participating teams made the tournament more attractive. The organizers believe that the tournament has contributed significantly to creating an environment of mutual harmony and cooperation through sports within the insurance sector. <\/p>\n
