KATHMANDU: Nepal LP Gas Industry Association (LPG) has urged the LPG dealers to sell and distribute LPG at the same price from Friday. <\/p>\n
Issuing a press release today, the association made this request. The association has requested all the LPG industrialists marketing LP gas in the Kathmandu Valley to sell and distribute LPG without increasing the price of LPG by Rs 2,060 per cylinder fixed by the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) from Friday and inform their dealers. <\/p>\n
Earlier, the road was disrupted after some sections of the Prithvi Highway were cut off due to the severe flood in the Trishuli River at Krishnabhir area on August 28. Since then, the gas industries in the Kathmandu Valley have been selling LP gas by refilling cylinders in Makwanpur, Parsa, Bara, Chitwan, Nawalparasi and Dhanusha through alternative routes through trucks. <\/p>\n
Issuing a press release on September 3, the Association has urged all LPG industries that have been marketing LP gas in the Kathmandu Valley to increase the price of LP gas by Rs 105.38 per cylinder fixed by the NOC and not increase the price by Rs 2,165.38. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, with the opening of alternative tracks on the obstructed road section, LP gas bullets have also started coming to Kathmandu, removing the compulsion of gas industries in the Kathmandu Valley to import gas through alternative routes.
