The government has decided to reduce the capital gains tax on the stock market. <\/p>\n<p>A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today decided to reduce the capital gains tax on share trading in the case of natural persons. <\/p>\n<p>Likewise, long-term investors who sell their shares after 365 days from the date of purchase of their shares will have to pay 3.5 percent of their profits and 5 percent for short-term investors who sell their shares 365 days before the date of purchase. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the investors had to pay 7.5 percent capital gains tax on the shares sold after 365 days and 10 percent on the shares sold before 365 days. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
