Banks have published a notice today and announced the interest rates applicable in September. Out of the commercial banks, 2 have reduced the maximum interest rate on personal fixed deposits, while the rest have kept it stable. <\/p>\n
Standard Chartered Bank and Kumari Bank were among those that reduced the maximum interest rate on personal fixed deposits for September. Standard Chartered Bank reduced it to 3.75 per cent and Kumari Bank to 3.43 per cent. Standard Chartered Bank and Kumari Bank were offering 3.80 per cent and 3.46 per cent respectively in August. <\/p>\n
They are Citizens Bank, Global IME Bank, Machhapuchchhre Bank, Nabil Bank, Nepal Bank, NIC Asia Bank, NMB Bank, Prime Commercial Bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Nepal SBI Bank, Siddhartha Bank, Prabhu Bank, Himalayan Bank, Sanima Bank, Everest Bank, Laxmi Sunrise Bank and Nepal Investment Bank. <\/p>\n
Likewise, Citizens Bank has fixed interest rate at 3.85 percent, Global IME Bank 4.00 percent, Machhapuchchhre Bank 4.5 percent, Nabil Bank 4.25 percent, Nepal Bank 4.15 percent, NIC Asia Bank 4 percent, NMB Bank 4.50 percent, Prime Commercial Bank 4 percent, Rastriya Banijya Bank 4 percent, Nepal SBI 4.10 percent, Siddhartha Bank 3.76 percent, Prabhu Bank 4.55 percent, Himalayan Bank 4 percent, Sanima Bank 4.50 percent, Everest Bank 3.50 percent, Laxmi Sunrise Bank 4 percent and Nepal Investment Bank 4.50 percent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
