Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure dividends of two commercial banks. <\/p>\n
Today is the last day to secure Sanima Bank and Everest Bank. Both these banks have decided to close the book on September 1. This means that the shareholders who have remained till date will be eligible to receive the dividend of these banks. <\/p>\n
Sanima Bank is organizing its 22nd Annual General Meeting on September 26. The meeting will begin at 11 am at Amrapali Banquet in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
The meeting shall approve a cash dividend (inclusive of tax) of a total of 10 per cent of the proposed current paid-up capital and a cash dividend (inclusive of tax) of 8.25 per cent for preference shareholders. The meeting shall elect 2 directors to be represented on the board of directors from the general public. <\/p>\n
The meeting approved the annual and auditor’s report for the last fiscal year and approved the proposal for the current fiscal year 2083. 84 for the appointment of the auditor and the resolution relating to the determination of his remuneration. <\/p>\n
Similarly, Everest Bank has decided to hold its 32nd Annual General Meeting on September 30. The meeting will begin at 10 am at Amrapali Banquet in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
The meeting approved a total dividend of 15 per cent of the proposed current paid-up capital. This includes 5 per cent bonus shares and 10 per cent cash dividend (including tax). <\/p>\n
The meeting will also pass a resolution to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association accordingly as the capital will increase after the distribution of bonus shares. The meeting will approve the annual and auditor’s report for the last fiscal year 2083. 84 The proposal relating to the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his remuneration will be approved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
