KATHMANDU: Laxmi Sunrise Bank has contributed Rs 3.24 crore to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund (PMLF) to support the relief and rehabilitation efforts of the families and communities affected by the recent floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers. <\/p>\n
The floods have caused huge loss of life and property in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Chitwan among other districts, affecting households, means of livelihood and essential infrastructure. While the immediate rescue and relief efforts are gradually moving towards rehabilitation and reconstruction, the communities affected by the disaster need long-term support and support. <\/p>\n
Through this donation, Laxmi Sunrise Bank has been trying to support the ongoing collective relief and rehabilitation efforts for the affected families and communities to return to a normal life and to advance the reconstruction efforts. <\/p>\n
The bank expresses its deepest condolences to all those who have lost their relatives, homes and livelihood due to this disaster. In addition, the bank acknowledges the contribution of government agencies, security agencies, rescue and relief workers, volunteers and local communities who have been continuously engaged in rescue, relief and management during the disaster. <\/p>\n
