Kathmandu. Surya Jyoti Life Insurance Company has handed over a financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund with the aim of supporting the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the floods. <\/p>\n
The company’s Chairman Keshav Prasad Bhattarai, Director Hemanta Nahta and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Prakash Bikram Khatri jointly handed over the amount to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle. The company handed over the assistance amount in solidarity with the efforts of the Government of Nepal, security agencies and various organizations for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the recent devastating floods in the country. <\/p>\n
The company has been providing financial and various types of assistance in various adverse situations that the country has felt in the past and even in the present situation, the financial support of Rs 1 crore made by the company to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund will address the immediate needs of the people affected by the floods as well as help in rescue, relief and rehabilitation work.
