Kathmandu. Rasuwa: Power supply from various hydropower stations has been disrupted due to flash floods in Rasuwa district. <\/p>\n
Issuing a notice today, Nepal Electricity Authority informed that power supply to these hydropower stations has been disrupted. Power supply to Rasuwagadhi, Chilime, Trishuli 3 A, Trishuli 3 B Hub 220 KV Substation, Trishuli and Devighat Hydropower stations and other distribution centers associated with NEA’s generation, transmission and distribution has been disrupted. <\/p>\n
Expressing its commitment to make every possible effort to regulate the power supply, the NEA has urged all concerned to have patience until the supply becomes regular. <\/p>\n
The flash floods in Rasuwa have caused irreparable loss of life and property, as well as houses, roads, bridges, electricity and other physical infrastructures. The NRA has urged all bodies concerned to be effectively mobilized and cooperate in the search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation of all the security personnel, civil servants and members of the general public who have been disappeared and affected by this natural disaster. <\/p>\n
The NRA has urged all the civil servants, NRA employees and members of the general public living near rivers and streams, coastal areas and vulnerable areas to adopt high alertness and shift to safer places if there is further risk.
