Now, if the primary shareholders have to sell more than 5 percent of their shares, they will have to inform the concerned company 15 days in advance. <\/p>\n<p>The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) issued a circular to the listed companies on Tuesday. The directive has been issued by SEBON with the objective of regulating and monitoring the transactions of securities market and securities traders in order to make the trading of securities strong, effective and credible. <\/p>\n<p>As per the directive, any of the primary shareholders of the companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) will have to inform the concerned company 15 days in advance if they want to sell 5 percent or more of their shares. Arrangements have to be made to make this information public through NEPSE and the validity of the information will be only 3 months. This means that the shares will have to be sold within 3 months. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has also directed the listed corporate institutions to make necessary arrangements at the Central Deposit Institution as per Rule 39 (2) of Rule 38 of the Securities Registration and Issue Regulations, 2073. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
