He also accused Trump of trying to destroy Canada&#8217;s auto industry. &#8220;If the United States returns to the negotiating table with the right approach, Canada is ready to resume negotiations,&#8221; Carney said. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>Canadian officials said the U.S. had made those demands in the final stages of negotiations. According to them, it was impossible to accept. It included a provision. It would have placed limits on countries that could have a trade deal with Canada. <\/p>\n<p>U.S. officials have blamed Canada for this.
