Kathmandu. Himalayan Organization’s flagship Aayam Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. is all set to launch electric buses under Chinese automobile giant Dongfeng brand in Nepal. <\/p>\n
The buses will be officially launched on the occasion of NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026 to be held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu from September 11. <\/p>\n
In the first phase, the company is preparing to launch two models of 12 meters length and 26 to 30 seats. In addition, the company plans to introduce 38 and 52-seater large buses of length 9 and 12 meters in the near future. <\/p>\n
The company said that the detailed technical specifications and price of the Dongfeng bus will be made public during the Auto Expo. Dongfeng’s buses will be available at a competitive price compared to other buses of the same class currently available in the market. In addition, special discounts will be provided for the customers booking buses during the expo period. <\/p>\n
Aayam Intercontinental will use Himalayan Organization’s nationwide network to make the after-sales service effective. The company has ensured that customers will get easy access to spare parts and maintenance facilities through its branches and dealers throughout the country. <\/p>\n
