They have managed to bring in a business of more than Rs 200 billion in 83 years. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Nepal Insurance Authority, the life insurers (14 big and 3 small) have earned a total insurance premium of Rs 204.59 billion in the last fiscal year. Most of the business of the companies has been imported from Bagmati province. The companies have collected Rs 86.96 billion in insurance premiums from the province. Bagmati&#8217;s share in the total trade is 42.50 percent. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the second largest number of business companies have brought in from Lumbini Province. The companies have collected Rs 33.22 billion in insurance premiums from the province. Lumbini&#8217;s share in the total trade is 16.13 percent. <\/p>\n<p>Koshi Province is in the third position. The companies have collected Rs 25.16 billion in insurance premiums from the province. Koshi&#8217;s share in the total trade is 12.30 percent. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, in the last fiscal year, the company collected Rs 21.30 billion in insurance premiums from Gandaki Province, Rs 19.13 billion from Madhesh Province, Rs 12.81 billion from Sudurpaschim Province and Rs 6.21 billion from Karnali Province. <\/p>\n<p>Of the total trade, Gandaki has 10.41 percent, Madhes 9.35 percent, Sudurpaschim 6.27 percent and Karnali 3.04 percent. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-309747\" src=\"https:\/\/insurancekhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/provincewise-business.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"855\" height=\"491\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
