The government and the family of Ganesh Yadav, who was killed in a demonstration at Golbazaar in Siraha district, have reached a seven-point agreement. <\/p>\n<p>An agreement was reached between Home Minister Sudan Gurung and Yadav&#8217;s family members at Tulsiyahi of Aurahi rural municipality-2 in Siraha on Friday night. The government has agreed to take initiative to immediately forward the process of declaring Yadav as a martyr. \u00a0As per the agreement, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the bereaved family. <\/p>\n<p>It has also stated that an eligible member of the family would be provided with employment opportunities, free education would be provided to the siblings of the deceased and free treatment to parents in government hospitals. <\/p>\n<p>Likewise, an agreement has been reached to carry out an impartial investigation into the incident and take action against the guilty as per the law, implement the suggestions and recommendations of the probe committee&#8217;s report and construct a memorial park on behalf of the local level in memory of the deceased. <\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed by Home Minister Gurung and father of the deceased Ram Briksha Yadav.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
