Enduring traffic jams for hours and the compulsion to go to the office of the Department of Industry in Tripureshwor is now becoming a thing of the past for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs. The government has made a leap towards digital technology, ending the hassle of visiting the doors of the department for the youths who are dreaming of opening new industries or entrepreneurs who are trying to expand their own business. <\/p>\n<p>The Department of Industry has informed that most of its services have been moved to a completely online system. From August 18, applications and document registration of major services will not be accepted even in physical presence. All the processes will be done online through the Industrial Management Information System only.\u00a0According to the department, entrepreneurs will no longer have to be physically present to submit files to the office. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Registration of new industries with domestic investment with fixed capital of more than Rs. 250 million, registration of unit industries, capital and capacity enhancement of industries, change of name and purpose, extension and cancellation. <\/li>\n<p>{{TAG_OPEN_li_11} Foreign Investment Approval (including automatic route), Business Visa Recommendation, Investment Return Technology Transfer Agreement and Share Purchase Process. <\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li> Determination of raw material consumption norms, submission of annual progress report, recommendation of exemptions and facilities, work related to Corporate Social Responsibility and approval of Environmental Impact Assessment. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The department has also tightened new rules to prevent the entry of unauthorized persons or middlemen in the case of certain special services that are not available online or have to be physically present.\u00a0For the service required to be physically present, only the director of the establishment, the employees of the establishment or the officially designated representative will have to come to the service with a clearly identifying identity card. <\/p>\n<p>In order to prevent small and medium enterprises from travelling to the federal capital, Kathmandu, the provincial government has been made fully responsible for the industries with fixed capital of less than Rs 250 million. The department has made it clear that the machinery, tools, raw materials, chemicals required by such industries, bonded warehouses and concessions and recommendations will be done by the concerned provincial government and the bodies under it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
