Because the mediators between the two countries had requested another opportunity for talks. <\/p>\n<p>Iran has also temporarily halted its attacks. The pause comes after nearly two weeks of daily U.S. attacks and Iranian retaliation. <\/p>\n<p>The attacks almost completely canceled the June ceasefire.
